Cheers to all that attended on the day it was nice to see so many from the league turn up i will update with the amount as soon as i know. It was f*****G difficult i'm not gonna lie. Also the team event was won by Myself S Hale D Oates and A Brock beating J Bland B Hines N Beatie And A Bremner in the final 3-1 a good day all round to which i donated the whole £50 and the others donated £20 each so thanks guys. A massive thanks for all that joined me on my 24hrs of pain for The Nichola Southey Appeal. A big thanks to Scott Dalby & Dan Hobbs who did the 24hrs with me. To Fran & Jay who worked all night & Morning and to the rest of the staff. To Tina who worked so hard to make it run so smoothly.To Graham Ian & Joy for the early hours support. So thanks to all my family friends and staff who pulled together to make this work.

We can no confirm that The White Horse Will now be open from 11am Saturday 11th June through till 11pm Sunday 12th June. We have a 24hr license to serve alcohol there will also be some food available after the normal hours.
There will be £200 going to the winning team. There will be a raffle on the day with lots of prizes.
There will also be a free bouncy castle all weekend to keep the children entertained.
Children are welcome untill 10pm every night of the week.

£200 cash will go On Saturday 11th June not Sunday 12th

People i have been informed that county is on sunday 12th June.

So the 4 person event will be on the Saturday 11th June 12pm White Horse.

£10 a team entry. Winner takes £200. Round robin group format.

1 frame per player first team to 3 wins.

This will suit the lesser player so there is oppotunity for upsets so please dont be put off it is only a tenner and it all goes to The Nichola Southey Appeal.

The £200 will go even if there is 1 team.

On the 12/06/11 I Paul Earnshaw will be playing pool for 24hrs at The White Horse hopefully depending on the local council and police it will either be 24hrs straight which means we will be open for 24hrs. Or if turned down will be from 12pm-12am Sat and 11am-11pm Sunday.

This all came about when local lady and friend Wendy Field came to me and asked if we could do something for The Nichola Southey Appeal. Nichola suffered a severe asthma attack five months ago and has never regained consciousness. She is only 38 years old. Nichola has battled chronic asthma since the age of 7, but the bad attack last October has changed things for ever. She has been in Oxfords John Radcliffe Hospital ever since Doctors believed that she would never wake and gave her five days to live, although against the odds Nic keeps fighting.Now, five months down the line, shes still here and has brain damage,cannot speak, is blind and needs 24 care.

Sadly Wendy has passed away since so i have decided to raise as much as possible for this great cause. So i need as many players from the league, New, Experienced, Old, New i don't mind i just need people to play for 24hrs.

I am trying to arrange a four man team event on the other table with a prize of upto the value of £150 for the winners. £10 a team to enter This will be a round robin format. It will also be a day event so if your in a rush dont bother. Please come and support over the 2 days i will get all the details for the Competion as soon as i have drawn them up.

Any ideas, help, support, or donations will be greatly received.
