Well Done to Bicester Select for winning the Interleague over at Witney yesterday.
It was a ropey start scraping a draw against Abingdon 9-9, but then a thumping 17-1 against Wallingford put the Select back on track. That left the Select needing to get just 6 frames against Witney in the last match. It looked awful at the turn with Select losing 2-7, but a better 2nd half ensured the Select won it eventually winning the 2nd half 7-2 to draw the match 9-9.
The Select were pretty much playing with 8 in every match as i played absolute tripe and only won 1 all day! Sorry guys but well done to the rest of the team for pulling together.
sunday 21st june 12pm at witney is our next match ,s .hopefully this will see us through to yarmouth again and hopefully with a much stronger team than ever before .the team should be tough to pick as i have about 11 strong players to choose from which is good. the top 5/6 virtually pick themselves but the final few starting places are up for grabs to those remaining players to earn the right to play for Bicester Select in the National finals.
